Leicester-based artist Francesca Simpson traverses a line between tradition and contemporariness, capturing the complexities of British wildlife. Before turning her attention to a career in art, Francesca trained as a classical pianist at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. A disciplined classical music background is reflected in her unique approach, characterised by meticulous craftsmanship and expressive, naturalistic compositions.
